THE POWER OF TAHAJUD

A.   Understanding Prayer Tahajud
Tahajud derived from the corresponding tahajjada istaiqazha word, meaning awake, purposely built, or deliberately not sleep. It was of course done at night, so called "shalatul-Lail/qiyamul Lail" or evening prayers.

In many texts discovered information about prayer tahajud (qiyamul Lail), in which the word of God,

"Than most of the night praying tahajud do ye as an additional worship, God help you to lift you to a praiseworthy (Al-Israa '[17]: 79).

In another verse, Allah describes the activities of the people both as follows:

"... The state of their (good guys) that very little sleep during the night and in the end their night memo0hon forgiveness of Allah" (Adh-Dzariyat [51]: 17-18).

In a narration, Abu Hurayrah said, "The Messenger of Allah was asked, 'Which of the various kinds of prayer are more Afdhal after fard prayer?' Messenger of Allah replied,"Midnight", the question was asked again. "Which of the various kinds of fasting is more Afdhal (good) after Ramadan fasting?", He replied, "Fasting in the month of Muharram."

B.   Virtue Prayer Tahajud
Many tahajudd primacy of prayer in the evening, which are in a long tradition of Umar ibn Al-Khattab: from the Messenger of Allah said, "For those who prayed fervently at night and run it, then God exalted with nine cases, five in the world and four in the afterlife. "

The five cases in the world are
1. God take care of disasters;
2. Looks former devout in his face;
3. He will be enjoy by the righteous servants even by all men;
4. His words of wisdom;
5. God memberikanya sustenance of understanding of religion.

As for four in the hereafter is:
1. Resurrected from the grave with a white face and bright;
2. Facilitated her reckoning;
3. Walking on Shirat (hereafter bridge) like lightning (the lightning);
4. Provided charity record books with his right hand on the Day of Resurrection.

In addition to the five obligatory prayers, should be encouraged also qiyamul Lail, given primacy in the world and keuntunganya always give God an assortment of scrumptious and strength to face the ordeal.

Among virtues and evening prayers avail described in the Qur'an as follows:

1. To obtain the position of noble and praiseworthy (Surat al-Isra '[17]: 79)

Almost all people hope to obtain noble and commendable position in the side of Allah SWT

2. People who have always maintained teguhnya night prayer entitled to recognition as "muhsinun".

3. Allah praised and put them in the servants of his deeds good.

4. They recognized Allah as faithful beings deserve.

5. The enforcement prayer that night differs significantly from the situation of people who do not do it.
