The strength of character that Eleanor Roosevelt possessed was obvious in her face. On her head, which was always held high, her light hair was styled in a no nonsense way and did not cover her forehead or eyes. Her eyebrows were thick and natural, and under these were her intense eye, which revealed her intellegent mind.
Her nose was straight, and as she aged, her cheeks sagged a bit and formed the common wrinkles that make a triangle out of the nose and edge of the mouth.
She was a serius woman but when she smiled, her smile showed sincerity and geniune pleasure. She was a great asset ho her husban, Franklin, who was president of the United Stated from 1932 to 1945. In short, it was clean from the first impression that Eleanor Roosevelt was a strong woman.
